The Pill vs. Nuvaring - Birth Control Message Board

I am deciding on a new birth control. My doctor was telling me about the Nuvaring where you put it in your vagina and leave it in for 21 days and take it out. She made it sound easy and it's 99.9% effective. I've taken the pill and had no problems but I would like some opionons of people who have taken both. Which is better? I have a child and I want the best method adn from reading brochures I think Nuvaring is better. But I would love some input. Thanks.

i think nuvaring is fabulous! i had been on 2 pills prior to starting the ring & this is definitely my favorite form of bc. its so easy. i've even lost about 7 pounds since i started (2 months ago). i broke out kinda bad the 1st month but that was it. no other side effects. if you & your gyn think it would be good for you, i say give it a shot! its excellent!
