Is spotting during the pack normal - Birth Control Message Board

I have been using cyclessa for seven months now and haven't had any problems with spotting. Last week I was late taking my pill on Tuesday and Thursday (normally take it in the morning and didn't take it until the evening). Then on Friday, Saturday and today (Monday) I have had some spotting. Im not supposed to start my next period until Wednesday of next week (8 days). Should I contact my doctor or is this just something that happened since I took my pills late.

Has anyone else had this problem

This is most likely because you took your pills so late. Also, if you were over 12 hours late taking your pills, your protection was compromised, so make sure you use back-up contraception (such as condoms) until you've taken seven consecutive active pills correctly.

There is really nothing you can do to stop the spotting at this point. Just keep taking your remaining pills as normal. Your body will straighten itself out eventually, though you may keep spotting until you begin your next pack of pills.
