I was recently diagnosed with PCOS and put on Ovcon 35 birth control pills. My question is 8months later a diffrent doctor put me on Iron tablets and Im not sure if I told him I was on the pill or not. Is it safe to take the b/c and iron tablets together??
I take a multivitamin with iron and a zinc tablet every day and I've been on the pill for about a year. I wouldn't think there would be an interaction.

It's fine to take iron with birth control. Some brands of birth control even include iron tablets to be taken during the week of a woman's period.
Thanks so much for replying. I've been on the pill a while but Im still not sure which meds and over the counter stuff I should or should not use with them.
