Accutane/Birth control - Birth Control Message Board

HI Everyone!

I am a 27 year old female who is starting Accutane next week. While on Accutane I need to be on birth control. I have never been on it before. I just have a few questions....

Is there a particular one I should go on while Im on Accutane? I dont know too much about all the different kinds.

And since its my first time on it, is there one I should start with?

Choosing a pill can depend on several factors, so it's best to let your doctor make that decision. There really isn't an "introductory pill" or one that's specific to Accutane.
