wow..does someone know whats going on? - Birth Control Message Board

i have been sooo stressed out lately.
i have been on BC for a year and a 1/2. i recently stopped taking my pills for one full month, and had sex with a guy, then the next day got my period and it was fine. we used a condom too.

i restarted taking the BC after that month off and i have been taking the pills now since last sunday, so about 5 days. i had sex once on wednesday night, with a condom. i know the pill at this time was not considered effective because it was not a week.

welllll..last night, i went to the bathroom, and there was a tiny bit of blood when i wiped , like just a little drop. i felt a few minor cramps but that could have been in my head. i went to bed really worried and then woke up and eveyrhting seemed to be okay.

could this be from re-starting the pill and my body getting used to the hormones again? i am soo scared. each time i had sex we used a condom and he even pulled out. =\ help

It's probably just your body reacting to the hormones, very unlikely that you are pg.
Spotting is very common while your body is getting used to going back on the hormones. Check with your Dr. if it continues or gets worse.
