Hi all,
a couple of years ago my doctor put me on yasmin for birth control, saying that a lot of people find it reduces the risks of weight gain (although after reading a few posts on these boards...i'd be surprised if *anyone* experienced positive side effects). i did gain weight whilst on the pill and also found it turned me into a moody cow, much to the dismay of my boyfriend at the time!
so i stopped taking it.
now i've decided to give the pill another go and my doctor recommended microgynon20. she said it's a lower dose of hormones so it may be less likely to give me the side effects that i experienced before.
has anyone else had a positive experience with microgynon20? if it's anything like yasmin, i don't want it!
