Worried- please help! - Birth Control Message Board

Hi everyone. So, here's the deal:

To clarify for those who may suggest pregnancy, the last time I had sex was around 2 months ago, before my last period. I am currently taking Microgestin Fe 1/20, and am a Sunday starter. My last period was my 3rd month on Microgestin, and I had blood that Monday, and the rest of my period was really more of a light, colored discharge.
This month, so far I have not had any blood at ALL. It is Wednesday night, and so far all I have had is a very light brown discharge. This is scaring the heck out of me....is this normal? Could something be wrong? Hopefully I'm not being silly, but I can't help but be worried. Thanks to all who reply!

When I was prescribed bc, I was told that even a brown smudge counted as a period when on it. Look at the paperwork that came with your pills- it should talk about it. Any combined pill can make the lining of the uterus extremely thin, therefore leading to "barely periods." Some women have no period at all on them, even when they take a week off. If you really feel uncomfortable about what is happening with your body, a phone call to your dr is definately in order, but for me personally, I wouldn't worry about it too much as long as there was something that resembled a period.
