Tricyclin Making Things Worse - Birth Control Message Board

I have been taking Tricyclin for two-three months now and have noticed a worsening in my skin since I started taking it. My periods also come every three (as opposed to every four) weeks and last for about 10 days (mind you, they take two-three days to begin but then they last and last). I have also had terribly painful periods and they continue to hurt despite the pill. I am not sure if I am imagining things, but I think I have also noticed brain fog and increased fatigue, although I am not sure how related this is to the BC.

Has anyone had a smiliar experience? I know that BC, if anything, is supposed to help clear the skin and regulate menstural flow and pain. What should I do??

All I can tell you is that finding the right pill is trial and error. I also had worse acne on ortho tri-cyclen and I thought it was supposed to make it BETTER! Sounds like you need a new brand!

You should try yasmin, thats the only pill I've ever been on so far so good. I was on it for my acne so it should be good for your skin. They said it was a newer and better pill for both the skin and to pg protection. It also has potassium only one of its kind. hope this helps!
