Just out of interest, has anyone or someone they know got pregnant on depo???

I took Depo for about a year and a half and never got pregnant.

My friend got pregnant on the Depo shot.

She has 3 kids and is now, pregnant with her 4th. She's been on it over a year. She is very overweight and I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it.

Hi,

I was on depo for about a year and 4 months and didn't get pregant. Most women usually don't convince till about 12 to 18 months after their last shot. But, bear in mind no form of birth control is 100% fail proof.

I was on Depo for 2 years and I didn't get pregnant while on it. As a matter of fact, I didn't get pregnant easily after I stopped it either!!! Depo is the devil as far as I'm concerned. I don't think that women who want children should rely on this method. Yeah, it is a VERY effective method of bc, but there are so many women who experience infertility after using it.........myself included, that it isn't worth the risk.
