I have been taking birth control for about 2 years, so i know how birthcontrol works, and how it effects me- my question is.......I recently changed from Ortho-tricyclen to YAZ, because i wanted to try low hormones and a shorter period, well How do i know that this birth control is as effective as my other, even though it is a lower hormone. when i first started birth control i was on a pill, that i guess was not strong wnough for me and i bled all month long, with horrible cramps. If Yaz, is too low to be effective wouldnt i have similar side effects? I have been on yaz for aboout a month now, but was curious if i needed to stress about having unprotected sex, when i recently swapped to a lower hormone birthcontrol? Any advice would be awesome! thanks
