Missed Pill on Day 14 - Birth Control Message Board

I am worried sick!!! I have been on birth control for 10 years now, and my cycle is very regular and predictable. I am always good about taking my pills. However, on day 14 (OVULATION) of my cycle (almost two weeks ago), my husband and I had sex, and he pulled out. The next morning, I realized that I did not take my pill, so I took it then. Three days later, I spotted a little bit. Since yesterday, I have had back pain and been slightly fatigued. I should start my period tomorrow (day 28), but I am sooo nervous that I may not start. I think I have made the situation worse by stressing out about it so much. Will someone please tell me what my chances are for being pregnant????

The spotting could have been from having missed that one tablet. Even though you missed a pill you're still covered from the previous one. And you said your husband pulled out? That's going to decrease your chances of being pregnant too. I'd say your chances aren't very high, but I'm not a doctor. If you're stressing so much over this at the moment then that could lead to your period being delayed. So stop stressing! Stressing won't get you anywhere.
