im new here

My name is Sammy Jayne and im 18 yrs old

Ok so i was on Depo for about a year, came off it went on the pill had periods in the 7 day break. Came off the pill went back on Depo for about 3 months (didnt go back for next injection) I havent had a period since my last depo which was in June 06 when i was on holiday (

) but i havent gone back on anthing after my last depo because i get sooo moody so ive decided with my bf that im going to stay unprotected for a while. Anyway, i had a packet of ovysmen that i didnt take it ages ago i had the three packs in and wernt out of date, but i took one on friday 17th Nov thinking i should start taking them, i didnt know wether to carry on taking them so i didnt take anymore, i really cant be bothered (oh yes im not having unprotected sex btw) but lastnite 22nd nov, in bed i was getting really bad cramps and this morning there is quite abit of brown blood,

im just wondering could that one pill have triggered my periods into coming back???? Or is there any other reason i have started to have this browny/bloody stuff??

ANY HELP WOULD BE SO GREAT

Hi Sammy,

Yes the pill could of triggered your period into arriving now. If you're having protected sex then you can rule out pregnancy.

When you take a pill or take a few then miss one - the decrease in the hormones in your body will trigger a period to arrive.
