NuvaRing and Breast Enlargement

A friend of mine is on the NuvaRing and went from an A cup to a C cup. Has anyone else experienced this while on NuvaRing?
If so, after how long did you notice a change and how much of a change?

Also, what do you like about NuvaRing and dislike???

Thanks!!

Re: NuvaRing and Breast Enlargement

Hi,
I posted earlier about having breast enlargement from alesse and aafter talking to my doctor she suggested that I try nuvaring instead. Apparntly because the hormones don't go through the liver some side effects (like breast enlargement) don't occur. I don't know if you want to have breast enlargement but I will let you know when I start it.

Re: NuvaRing and Breast Enlargement

So you are switching because you do not want breast enlargement or what are your reasons for switching to NuvaRing? I would like to switch to NuvaRing because I forget to take my pill on time and breast enlargement would be ok with me. haha I would appreciate it if you let me know how it goes for you!! Thanks

Re: NuvaRing and Breast Enlargement

I just got off of using the Nuva Ring. I was on it for 3 months and every day at the same time I became extremely nauseous. I had been on Yaz but switch at a time when I was so stressed I kept forgetting to take the pill every night. I didn't have any enlarged breast while on the Nuva Ring and I feel so much better now that I am back on Yaz.

Re: NuvaRing and Breast Enlargement

I need to make an appointment soon so I need to decide if I want to try NuvaRing. If anyone could let me know what the advantages and disadvantages are I would appreciate it A LOT! Also any comments about breast enlargement while on NuvaRing would be helpful. Thanks

Re: NuvaRing and Breast Enlargement

So far I love Nuvaring. Its so convenient to not have to take a pill everyday. My breasts have not enlarged at all since being on nuvaring, however they have not really decreased from the enlargement caused by allesse.

**** sorry I don't know why it posted twice

Re: NuvaRing and Breast Enlargement

Just a FYI for you ladies out there.

The NuvaRing DOES NOT WORK. My girlfriend got pregnant using this ring back in 2003 with our son. She also has 5 other friends who've all gotten pregnant while using the ring. One of their doctors even told them that the ring does not work very well and people get pregnant using them quite often. The prevention rate is only about %60.

Just speaking from my own experience. try something else cause this one doesnt work very well.

Re: NuvaRing and Breast Enlargement

Let me just reiterate the importance of doubling up on protection.

I for one cannot simply see myself relying on JUST the nuvaring alone, the pill alone, the shot alone, whatever. I just feel like I NEED to have that physical barrier there (a condom) coupled with the use of some form of birth control in order to engage in sexual activity. Just my opinion.
