Pregnant on minipills? - Birth Control Message Board

I am thinking about shifting to minipills because I heard they have less side effects .But my gynaecologist says its efficacy is less .how common is it to get pregnant on minipills even though taking the pills at exact time ?Also how common is it to gained weight on minipills?

well its my first mth on mini pills so dont know about pregnancy, not due for af till this weekend, but no side effects, its been great for me no weight gain

I was on combined pill but had to change to pop pills which was a couple of years ago. And im not pregnant yet. I never had any weight gain effects of the pill. I only got really bad headaches and pins and needles.

Thanks for your help .tell me if u take it at exactly the same time during the day or max. within 3 hours ??I heard that the newest ones can be taken within 12 hours of forgetting the pill .could u please explain .Also could you tell me which brand are u using ?
