| alesse-long period ... PLEASE HELP!!
So I started taking alesse just over a month ago. When i went to see my doctor, she told me to take the first 21 pills in the pack, then when i had reached the sugar pills, wait for my period, then on the first day of menstruation, open a new pack and get rid of the sugar pills alltogether.
Okay, so far so good.
About a day or two after the last active pill in my pack, i started my period. Therefore, i got rid of that pack and started a fresh one. It has now been 11 days and my period has yet to stop. I am going crazy here and I am sure my boyfriend and family is too (mood swings, randomly starting to cry, not to mention the cramps that practically make me collapse.)
Has anyone experienced this before with Alesse? with any birth control actually? Why would the doctor tell me to skip the placebos? Will this bleeding ever stop?!?!
please help...
