Well my girlfriend and I have been best friends for over a year, dated for 9 months, were still together and very happy. Well 2 months ago we decided to have sex. Everything went great, used condoms, gotta protect the willy. Well i had to leave shortly after to visit mainland mexico for some studies i was doing for school ad when i came back i was eager to spend some time with her. We had sex again april 4th, again i was protected this time with spermacidal condoms. She recently told me its been a a week almost since her period was supposed to start, i think today is day 8. Im slightly worried, maybe im just over reacting. She is watching her mother for the weekend so its hard to get a chance to get her tested. Just curious if im just over worrying the situation?
I would say not to worry just yet. Stress can do a TON to throw off a woman's cycle. And it sounds like she doesn't often take care of her mother, so that could do it.
I wouldn't test just yet. I would probably wait another week or so. But my guess is that you are just fine, and that she's not pregnant.
Mostly, I would say that you have a right to be concerned, but it shouldn't be a worry, if that makes sense. I wouldn't let it consume you. You're most likely fine.
i wouldnt worry. stressing is the worst thing you can do. me and my boyfriend have had the same scare a few times. but it turned out i was just stressed which caused mine to delay. Just wait, chances are your safe if you've been using proper protection.
