period and mircette - Birth Control Message Board

I've been back on mircette for almost 2 months (switched from yasmin). Prior to pregnancy i used mircette for 3 years. I remember getting my period within 2 pills of the last row....Last month, it took 5 days (on the last row) until my period arrived. This month it's been 4 days and still no period. I have not missed any pills nor have i been absurdly late in taking them. I am very much sexually active as well...

Am I supposed to start my period while on the 2 reminder pills? should i be concerned about pregnancy? if so, after how many days without my period should i be concerned?

I took Mircette. You are suppose to have your period the week of the sugar pills. You don't have to take them. I never have taken them cause I always start my BCP on Sundays. It will take your body 3 months to get use to the new BCP give it time. Your period will be off track for a bit but it should regain normalcy so that you will start bleeding the week of your suagr pills.
