weight loss after stopping pill - Birth Control Message Board

has anyone lost weight after stopping the pill? ive been on the pill pretty much forever now and never gained weight from it but i just stopped about 2 weeks ago. i never had to lose weight until this past year i gained 10 lbs and was doing 1 hour of cardio a day and dieting and still having trouble losing. im wondering if the pill was keeping me from losing weight.

If it made your hormones below or above their normal levels it's possible. Happen to me. I'm not getting off of them but I start a new BCP tonight to hopfeully get my progesterone up so I can get this weight off.

I gained about 15 punds while on bc. I got off about three months ago and have lost 8 of it. I also tried to lose weight while taking bc, but failed miserably, and now the weight seems to be just pouring off of me.
