*Yaz* Started bleeding in the middle of the pack? - Birth Control Message Board

I am new to Yaz and generally new to BC, haven't been on it in years and this is my first month on Yaz and OH JOY I just started my period 12 days before the placebo pills. Has anyone else had this problem?!?!?!

Not super excited that my period wasn't that long ago, and based on the placebo pills is scheduled to happen in the not too distant future and I RANDOMLY start? Yuck!

It's probably not your period. It's more like break through bleeding. It can be heavy for some people. You might get your regular period when you are suppose to. If it does not correct it's self with in 3 months I'd call the doctor and let them know. The level of hormones in Yaz may not be correct your body.

For breakthrough bleeding it is pretty heavy! This is no fun. I have heard the 3 months rule of thumb so I won't go freaking out just yet. Thanks for the response!!!
