I need help does TRI-SPRINTEC give the same protection as Ortho TRi-cycln? I just need to know if i am totally protected from pregnancy on it so i can safley have intercourse with my fiance without risk of pregnancy?

Hi there,

I took Tri-Sprintec and I believe it's the generic form of Ortho-Tricylcen. With any birth control you are protected against pregnancy but you should still be careful. I was on it and had no problem at all with being protected. I did however have lots of problems with depression so I am now off of it.
