I have been on the patch for 2 months again. I was on it and then went off of it for 2 months because of lapse in insurance. I have just started my third month of the patch. I am finishing up my 1st week. I change it every Sunday. Last night it fell off... 2 days before I have to change it. I didn't have another patch because I was going to refill my script on Monday. I am able to get a script for a replacement patch tomorrow and will be putting it back on but won't be able to put it on until the afternoon. It says I should start over from when I put the patch on as Day 1 and start a new cycle over.

My concern is that I had unprotected sex twice yesterday... once in the morning and once in the evening. What are the chances that I could end up pregnant with being off the patch for a day and a half at the end of the 1st week? I ended up getting pregnant 2 1/2 years ago while on the patch but it was because it was falling off and the doc said as long as it stays on it is okay.. but there was a huge gap in the center.. so it wasn't totally attached.

Anyone ever have any experience with getting pregnant after a patch falls off? Anyone know of anyone who has experience with getting pregnant after a patch falls off? It wouldn't be a huge deal if I was pregnant at this point.. even though it's not ideal.. it is totally doable. My concern would be having a miscarriage... the other time I got pregnant while on the patch it ended in miscarriage.
