late period/first month on BC - Birth Control Message Board

This is my first month on birth control and my period is late. Has this happened to anyone else? I use Cyclessa and started on a Sunday and now on the fourth week it is Wednesday and still no period. Just curious if this happened to anyone else when they started birth control.

I recently had this happen to me... and after being on the pill for many years, it freaked me out! It ended up showing up 2 days later than usual and I have no idea why. In your case, your body is probably just getting used to the pill still. I usually get my period 2-3 days after taking the inactive pills.
