It sounds to me like breakthrough bleeding, which is a very common side effect of birth control. It can particularly be an issue with the ultra low-dose pills like Loestrin24. I would suggest that you give it a little time to work itself out, but..... if it continues, you may not be a good candidate for such a low dose pill, and you'll have to switch to something higher dose. That seems to be a very common problem with this pill.
Some women lose their period all together. But others end up having too much breakthrough bleeding because the hormones are too low. That's what happens, unfortunately, when you start chemically screwing around with your hormones and stuff. It can be a real pain in the you-know-what to find the right dose level, sometimes.
