I've been on bc pills for about 1 1/2 months so I could escape my period while in Cancun. For some reason my body doesn't want to cooperate and Sunday I started my period. Grrr. I've got 2 weeks left on the pack, should I stop them since I'm having a period or keep up with them? I normally don't take bc, dh got snipped, so that isn't an issue.

You should have gotten a monophasic pill to skip with, since the triphasic pills like OTC are HORRIBLE for trying to skip. The problem you are having is what ALWAYS happens whenever someone tries to use it to skip. I'm frankly surprised your doctor prescribed it if you said you wanted to skip your period. That's kind of weird. You'd think the doc would know better and prescribe one that would actually work? Duh?

Well it did help me skip, thankfully it showed a week after I got back home. Couldn't answer about the different levels, guess that's what I get for asking my GP. Thanks for the help.
