Hi.
I've been on birth control since November. Ive been taking the pill faithfully everyday. Tonite my bf and i had unprotected sex. He pulled out but didnt ejaculate inside. I just remembered after the fact we had sex-I forgot that I took the pill, so i took it after sex. Is there a possibility that I could become pregnant, evem though he didnt ejacualte inside, and i forgot to take the pill? Thanks.

honey, don't stress i'm almost 100% sure you're fine. unless you've forgotten two in a row(which i've done and still didn't get prego)you're probably okay. i've got a baby about to turn one and been on the pill since i had her and i've done that soooo many times, and my hubby would go in me(yuck). as long as you're consistant with the pill you're fine and if your off by an hour or two it's ok. heck i've been a day late on taking it and haven't gotten pregnant again, not sayin i didn't worry a little. anyways i wouldn't stress if i was you. good luck!

As long as you remembered to take that pill as soon as you realized you forgot, you should be fine. Just be sure to take the next pill at regular time, even if that means 2 pills in one day. Missing one pill (and making it up) usually does not affect the pill too much. It's when you miss more that it really starts to make it less effective. My pill information (I take Yasmin) says that after missing one pill you don't need to use a backup birth control method, so I'm sure it doesn't make a big difference.

Also, pulling out is about 80% effective. So while it's not good to ONLY use the pull out method, it's still mostly effective when used with your pill. You should be fine!
