I am planning on going to see my bf in cali in sept. and I am starting yaz today i switched over from orth tricyclen......the thing is i don't want to still be on my period when i go to cali, and with orth i still had a little bleeding even after i started a new pack

my question is for those that use yaz do you still have some bleeding after your 4 placebo pills, i have two days before my flight where i will be on active pills.

i hope what i said made any sense to anyone

I usually have bleeding/spotting until 3 to 5 days after I start the active pills. But I believe this to mostly be because Yaz is a low-dose pill and I have extremely long periods without BCPs (a 13-day period wasn't unusual for me).

I have heard from some women that bleeding for them last only 1 or 2 days. It's just different for different people. But good luck!
