Question took pill early

hi ive recently started pill after a good few years and thought i was up to date with it took my first pack fine came on when i finished pack as u should but then wot i did was start my new pack a day earlier than i should of thinking when they said stop for a week start taking it exactly a week after u finished last pill but when i read up relised should of been 8 days will this do any harm or matter ?

I agree... you should have a pill for every day. There shouldn't be days where you STOP the pill. At the end of each pill pack, there are placebo pills that don't have anything in them that are more like reminder pills (where you get your period). If you mean that you were taking these and started the next pack early (skipping one of the placebo pills) you will be fine, but you shouldn't have taken these AND had days with no pills at all. If this is what happened, you should use a backup method of birth control until you get back into the pill cycle for a little while.

sorry u have both mis understood me what happened is i took my first pack as normal then u are ment to wait 7 clear days b4 starting new pack on 8th day but wot i did was take the pill on the 7th day instead of 8th day do u get me now sorry hard to explain?

you're supposed to take a pill everyday...they have 7 different color pills at the end of each pack (unless you have Yaz or Seasonal or something) in which you are supposed to get your period. There shouldn't be days that you take no pill at all.
