what are the effects if i dont take a 7 day break with the combined pill?

increased risk of break through bleeding. and when you do finally have your period, it will be a lot heavier.

NOT true with me. I'm on loestrin 24 fe right now, which I take continously. I hardly have any break through bleeding and last time I decided to try to have a period, I hardly had anything.

So, it all depends on the individual and what Pill you are taking. you just might have to try a few different Pills to get the one that works right for you.
If you switch ask your Dr. for a couple of Sample Packs - so that way if it doesn't work, you didn't waste your money trying them.

Once I tried a very low dose pill & I had alot of break through bleeding so my Dr. switched me to a little higher dose & it's been working fine for me.
