kariva and spiro - Birth Control Message Board

I'm supposed to start kariva and spiro for acne this month. Some of the posts are really scary. An endo from new york prescribed this combo. He had suggested Yasmin but I felt very bad on it four years ago. I want to trust him but I can't go the weight gain and moodiness route again. Does anyone take this combo with good results? He wants me to start with 200mgs of Spiro with the bc.

i take kariva now and have been for the last 3 years and my pms and mood swings are crazy. The week before and a few days into my period im up and down like a roller coaster. I can't take it any longer and am looking for somethings else cause if i don't im sure my boyfriends is either going to kill me or find someone else. other then that its been good as far as weight gain, maybe a few pounds when i started taking it.
