Hi All,
I am taking Cryselle 28, the generic of Lo-Orval. I have been on birth control since January and been consistent with taking the pill every day at the same time. So far I have not missed a pill. But, last night, instead of taking my last day of active pills, I accidentally took my 1st day of placebo pills. I did not realize this until tonight when I went to take my 1st placebo pill and saw it was gone, but the last active pill still there.

I decided to take the last active pill tonight. I am not sure if there was really a need to or not, or the right decision, but that was what I did. I will just continue to take the placebo pills for the rest of the week and obviously get my period later this week. My question is though, is there a need to use a back up method of birth control for any period of time? If so, how long do I need to do so for?
