brand names vs generics
I'm thinking of going back on the pill and I've been trying to research some pills before I go to see my gyno. The reviews I've been seeing are all over the place- but I have been reading about less side effects from people who take the brand name of the pill instead of the generic. Has anyone else experienced this? I know the brand names are more expensive but I'm willing to pay more if it seems as though there are less side effects. I've tried: Tri-Sprintec, Mircette, Kariva, and Aviane (all generics) and I hated them all.

Mircette is a brand name...it's generic is Kariva! I was on this kind also, and it worked good. You just have to keep trying until you find the right one for you, but generally, generics are the same drug (they just have slightly different inactive ingredients!)
