Starting new birth control on the right day?! - Birth Control Message Board

I am supposed to start a new birth control, and I am supposed to do the Sunday start - start taking it the Sunday after my period starts. But it's looking like my period will start ON Sunday...so do I start taking the birth control that day, or wait until next Sunday which would be the Sunday after?? I am so confused, and can't exactly call the office and ask because, well, it's Saturday night. Any help???

Did you read the package insert? I'm sure I saw the answer to that question in there? I'm almost positive I saw that situation addressed in the package insert. I don't recall what it says but I'm sure I remember reading it in there.

It should say in the insert, but as far as I know, even if you start your period on the Sunday, you can still start your pills on that day.
