So hopefully I can explain this correctly; my roommate wasn't understanding me:

I start my new pack on a Sunday. I was onto Tuesday of the 3rd week (so 3 pills into the 3rd week) when I lost my pack (actually, I went on vacation and left it at the hotel ha) When I went home I immediately got a new pack and started from where I had left off; so I just took the 4th day of the 3rd week like I hadn't lost my pack. Next week I had my period, then started the 1st week of that same pack (so the last week and 1/2 the third were missing)

So now when I get to the third week, I have 3 pills left and then I need a new pack. (Hopefully you get me so far) It hasn't been a problem, I just go get them after week 2 is over instead of sometime during week 4.

So, here comes my dilemma ha: I don't have a car and I am on week 3 right now, day one. I asked my roomie if she'd take me to the pharmacy and she said she couldn't, but she was all "just take the 3 you have left and then get your period!)

Can I just... skip 4 pills? It's not like I will take them some other time; I'd be missing 4 pills. My pack is a different hormone dosage each week too. She told me it doesn't matter if I skip 4 pills, as long as I get my period and then take my pills again like normal... but I dunno, I feel like that's not right. Who is right? Can I just take the 3 I have left from week 3, then take my placebo pills and then start a fresh pack? Also, I am wary because I do have unprotected sex with my partner. I have no idea who is right, but we are fighting about it (because she's sure she's right, and I think she's wrong... I'm probably wrong though) PLease help!
