Kariva birth control - any experiences? please? - Birth Control Message Board

I would appreciate it if any Kariva/Mircette users would share with me their experiences on the pill.

From what I've read, these pills cause weight gain and headaches, but this is a common side effect in all kinds of birth control.

Is it true that Kariva and Mircette are worse? Or are all birth controls the same on that spectrum?

I just bought Kariva and the chance of gaining any more weight than I already have at college is terrifying me.

I started Mircette about 2 and a half weeks ago. No weight gain yet and no headaches. I'm also in college and was really worried about weight gain. I'm hoping for no weight gain when i switch over to generic soon.

Well...I havent experienced any weight gain from Kariva...
That I know of at least
I seem to have a slightly larger appetite at times though..
And Ive been having almost cramp like pains in my stomach for the past 2 weeks (On my 4th week of my first pack today)
Those'll kill ya for sure >.<
I havent started my period, so I dont know what else is going to go on yet since its only been less than a month
