i am taking yaz.. i am not sure if there is a big difference between the two. i have heard all sorts of different things. but with yaz.. there are placebo pills you take and that is when you get your period. if you skip those then ya you can go awhile without a period.. or you may spot just a little each month. in my experience it takes a few months for your body to get used to the bc. i went thru boot camp and was taking yaz and wanted to avoid having my period. so i just skipped the inactive pills and started a new pack. no period. hooray
