Anyone have any thoughts/issues/experiences to share? Have you gained weight on this pill? Are your periods really only 3 days long? Does it effect your sex drive?

I've been off birth control for several years now. I had been on ortho tri cyclen lo for many years prior to quitting. I quit taking the pill for a few reasons - no sex drive and bloating were the main ones. I'm thinking of going back on the pill - mainly because I do not want to get pregnant again. My doc just gave me a sample of Lo Estrin 24. I've done a little bit of research - and one of the side effects is weight gain - which I DON'T want. As I said above, I'm just looking for any useful info from gals that have actually used this pill.

I HATE this BC! I have used many different BC's in the past....Depo, ortho tri cyclen the patch..just to name a few and I have never had breakthrough bleeding. Every month without fail I start my period mid-cycle and it stops just days before my period starts and then yes it only lasts 2 days, but by then I have had 10-12 days of bleeding and it is NOT spotting
