Hi all -

I am currently on Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo. Earlier in the month I had missed a pill or two, but just took them as soon as I remembered and continued as normal (I had not had sex at this point).

On Sunday night I had sex and did not take my birth control pill that night, but we did use a condom. There was also no ejaculation. On Monday morning, I looked at my pills and saw that I had 3 pills left before starting the placebo week. I decided not to take them, thereby starting the "placebos" a few days early. I have not had sex since then.

I usually start my period 2-3 days into the placebo week. But it is Thursday night and I still have not started my period, even though I have not taken a pill in about 5 nights.

My instincts tell me I am not pregnant, but I am wondering how I should proceed.

-Should I begin a new birth control pack this coming Sunday (even if I don't have my period)?
-If I do start my period in the next few days, should I still begin a new pack?
