i've noticed a very sudden change in my periods over the last two months and its worried me a little. ive been on yasmin for five months now, and on sunday i will start the sixth month. currently im on my "period" but this month and last month it's been really weird.

the first four months it was pretty much the same as it had been before i began BCP's, it was moderatly heavy the two days and then for two or three more days it would level off and eventually stop. the only difference was that it came each month on a monday.

but last month, the fifth month, there was considerably less blood, it lasted all of about 3 days, and the blood was alot darker. not only this but it came a day late, on tuesday. id heard about implantation bleeding and i was worried that that could have been it, but i was too scared to buy a pregnancy test. i figured i would just wait till the next month and see what happened.. (yeah i know, a dumb plan.)

so now, here i am, a month later. my "period" came on tuesday, like it did last month, and its really similar to last months period: very light, dark blood, and it seems like its only gonna last a couple days.

is it common to have a sudden change to a very light flow around the fourth or fifth month of birth control? i know my sister used to be on it and said she would only have it for a couple days.....

so does anyone know if this is normal? or should i be worried?
