margoo77 Newbie (female) Join Date: Oct 2009 Location: New York Posts: 1	Estrostep FE vs. Generic Brand: Help I was taking estrostep for about 8 years and about a year ago my health insurance switched me to the generic brand, tri-legest. Originally I went on bc because the pain was so bad that it kept me from leaving the house. When I was on estrostep the pain was gone and my periods were lightened and lasted about three days. Now that I've switched to the generic, the pain is starting to come back and my period has become heavier. I also feel like I've gained some weight. I was really happy with estrostep and now I'm considering changing. Has anyone ever experienced a difference between their name brand and generic? Can anyone recommend another brand? Thanks.
