Exclamation Chances of pregnancy on the placebo week???

Hello everyone! So here is my story..I've been taking Dianne 35 for about 6-7 months now, and I never experienced any side effects or late periods or spotting. I always took the pill at the same time! Last Saturday I finished my pack..and so i started the placebo pills..Also during this pack I might have taken the pill once or twice late with one hour, two tops. On Monday I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend and he came in me... I was suppose to have my period today ( Wednesday) but i didn't and I'm starting to really freak out because I'm not ready for this right now. It's very stupid of us to do this..especially that we always were very protected. What do you think? is there any risk of pregnancy?

Re: Chances of pregnancy on the placebo week???

I spoke to my doctor yesterday about taking a pill 11 hours late and she said that it is absolutely fine... there is a 12 hour window. So your "late" pills are certainly not late, so in theory you have taken your pills correctly. In this case there shouldn't be any problems. You are protected during placebo week too. I think your period may be late because you're anticipating it arriving... stress can deley a period. Try not to worry.

Re: Chances of pregnancy on the placebo week???

Many women never use a condom when they are on the pill. They have been doing that for years and not getting pregnant.

You're not "unprotected" if you're on the pill. "Unprotected" means nothing, no pill, no condom, nothing. Since you're on the pill, you're having protected sex.
