How to switch time I take my birth control - Birth Control Message Board

Hi,
I take my birth control at 11 o'clock pm.I am starting to get sleep deprived so I was wondering what the best way to switch the time I take it would be. I am sexually active so I need the best way that does not effect that.

Just start taking it at 9 or 10. An hour or two doesn't make a whole lot of difference, to be honest.

Since it's earlier that you want to start taking it, it doesn't make much of a difference. Taking a pill earlier then what you're used to (and then keeping it at that time) will just result in a bit more hormones in your system for that day. It's changing it to a later time that's more difficult.
