Hi all,

I have been married for years, and after briefly using some contraceptive pills in conjunction with spironolactone (to counter excessive hair growth which is a problem for me), I quit taking the pills, and now we only use condoms. Have some questions and would appreciate your feedback:

- my new gynecologist gave me a prescription for Yasmin. Does anyone have any experiences with it? It's also supposed to counter excessive hair growth.

- I would like to start using pills again to prevent pregnancy, but have always worried about the side effects (I eat organic, try to take care of myself and am weary of taking drugs, especially the ones that so drastically interfere with hormones, etc, unless I absolutely have to). Now, I am no extremist, just want to be careful about what I put into my body. Does anyone have suggestions, observations, etc?
