Hey Every1,

I was just curious if ne1 has ever missed their periods while on BC? I just had sex with my booy about a wk ago w/o a condom.. yes I know stupid!!! But I am on Zovia, and was just wondering if anyone else has missed theirs? Thanx for the info!

I think you should take a pregnancy test right away..just to make sure because if you are pregnant- you don't want to take BCP's- they can cause major damamge to your unborn child. If you did not miss any pills this monthe then most likely you are not pregnant, but if you missed even one this month, there is a chance you are pregnant. Test yourself..

Thanx for the advice. I have been on them for 5 months now and have never missed a pill or even taken them more that 2 hours apart! So i dont think i am because it did this last month too..... it came late and left early... so im not that worried! Thanx!

You need to talk to your periods being funny while on the pill. They should be regular while on the pill and if they are skipping and such then it is a sign the pill isnt working properly for you.
Also you can get pregnant even if you take the pill perfectly. I have two younger cousins who are the perfect example of pill babies. Their mom was married at the time and was on one brand of pills and took them perfectly. Well about a year of being on it she found out she was pregnant. After that baby was born she went on a different brand and six months later she was pregnant yet again. She gave up after that and had her tubes tied. Just saying there is still a chance of pregnancy and you might even be pregnant from your last cycle. You can still get what seems like periods and be pregnant.
So take a test to see if you are or not and also talk to your doctor.

I always had screwed up periods when I was on the pill... I wasn't regular at ALL when I was on Loestrin. And I would worry about it every single month. I spent way too much money on pregnancy tests... perhaps it's just the way your pill works?
