| I'm on Azurette (generic of Mircette) and have been bleeding ever since
So this is a pill that I have been on before and experienced no problems at all. That was when i was 30. Now I'm 34, and began taking it again. Here's what happened.... I took the first active pill on the first day of my period, as instructed. I was delighted that my period immediately became very light and I only needed to use a panty liner.
Then, i went away during the first week and forgot to take one of the active pills on time. I took it about an hour "late"
Ever since then, i have been bleeding every day. For 2 weeks, it was almost like a regular period and I felt terrible. Now, in the third week, it is much lighter but still requires a pad or lite tampon.
My GYN instructed me to skip the placebo pill week and go direectly to my next pack, and that this is a common problem when you take a pill late during the first three months.
Is this true? Any one else had this problem? I just started a new monogamous relationship and i am so frustrated. When is this going to stop or should i change pills after this next month?
