Hi, I regularly take my birth control pills and have recently been put on an antibiotic which has a message on the bottle saying it may affect birth control pills. I took the pills for ten days, where i used condoms and then was on my period week. I finished the medication saturday, and started a new pack of pills sunday. Sunday night i had unprotected sex. Should i be worried?
So it was straight after your period that you had unprotected sex? If that is the case, then you should be OK. If your next period is late, then do a test, but I am sure you haven't gotten pregnant. Sera.
You would still be pretty safe, ovulation does not happen that close to the period. There wouldn't be an egg ready for the little swimmers to find. They don't live that long either, so you will probably be fine. Sera.
