Nothing new and different. Just the same discomfort, but that goes along with a surgical repair, I guess.
One thing I did find out though is that it is really important to follow YOUR doctor's guidelines. I read a lot of different post-op ideas before the surgery and had a multitude of ideas and directions stashed in my head. One of the ideas was that applesauce was an acceptable food for the liquid diet. I know. It doesn't make sense but remember, I've been on pain meds.
Are you spending more time out in the sun this summer? If so, remember to wear skin cancer. And, if you do have any moles or skin spots that look questionable, get them checked out by a dermatologist. Early detection and prompt treatment of skin cancer deliver the best results and long-term prognosis.
