Dear Diary: My Talar Microfracture Experience

Surgery September 20, 2010
R ankle Arthroscopy, debridement and microfracture of the Talus.

Post op day 1: Felt very well most of the day. Wearing a MaxTrax boot. Rented a "Knee Walker" to help avoid using crutches. Only took 2 percocets all day. Took off the bandages and the ankle looks pretty good. Not much swelling. Wiggling the toes a bit. Spent most of the day out at a funeral, tried to keep the leg up as much as possible. Experienced some throbbing...
