Much More Positive About my IBS

Posted 11-26-2014 12:46 AM by AnxietyGirl74

I saw a different doctor and she actually cared. She told me to take an immodium every morning and take the VSL#3 in the morning and two gas x pills during each meal, then take a probiotic at night and I am feeling so much better. what’s the deal with gluten-free diets?

About Gluten

Gluten is a gummy, sticky protein that occurs naturally in wheat, barley, and rye, and bread dough won’t rise properly without it. Additionally, gluten is added to or used in the following foods:
  • in finished breads and rolls to provide a light chewy texture
  • as a thickener in soups, sauces, and dairy products
  • as a binder and texturizer in meat and fish substitutes
  • as a flavor enhancer in spice
