This is the first blog I have written. i have a contition called Gastroparesis or paralasis of the digestive system. It causes severe pain, nausea, severe vomiting,bloatibg,belching, malnutrition.
I have suffered from this since 2008. At first the hospitals said they didn't know what was wrong with me. I was told by one Dr that they may never find out what was wrong and I would just get worse until they would have to put an NG tuble in to feed me. I went home devastated...

After taking my first round of moviprep last night and actually gagging back my last sip of the dose, I panicked at the thought of having to have another round the next day (today). So, I read through about 4 pages of blogs on different sites and a few people mentioned lemons. I thought about how "back in the day" lemon did an amazing job clearing up the horrible taste of tequila, and thought, why not try it. So, I cut up a small lemon in quarters.
And had a small glass of coke(4oz)...

A couple of years ago, I had a GP whom I really trusted. He was knowledgeable, thorough, and a really nice person. He had begun to share his office with two younger GPs a year or so previously, so that they could take over when he retired.

That GP treated me mainly for my IBS, which, at that point, had become so bad that I'd had to give up my second job and was now on a rather restricted diet because my body wouldn't tolerate anything else.

For about the past 10 years, I've had persistent throat-clearing and coughing after I eat. I've also had intermitent diarrhea for about the same amount of time.

I thought the diarrhea was an intolerence to some sort of food, but self-experimentation led me to believe that it couldn't have been. IBS was always a possibility, but as previous doctors had told me, I've never had constipation, only diarrhea.

Finally, I've got a doctor who is at least leaving the possibility...

hi, My Grandmother use to say the that food would to digest well do to junkfood, it would get stuck to your digestive track. So she would give us Castor oil (Laxative) every other month to clean us out, my husband started to get a bad, realy bad smelling burp, sick. so the second time he had that smell i gave him some Castor oil, and been giving him some every month, and he has not had that problem any more.
Castor oil works on the small intestine.
