over 60 days off percocet!
I am glad to be off the percs. They have been apart of my life for about 8 or 9 years. I have been able to taper off before, but always went back. To be honest, there are some things that I miss about them--mostly the energy. But it is so wonderful not to be constipated. It also a relief that I don't have to worry about running out, having to count and recount my pills all month. My husband took them too, and I gave him his cut each day, and he always wanted more by evening. We always ran out early. I am not living in secrecy, which feels great. Sex drive is back. Yay! I don't have to live my day around when it's time to take my next pill or worry about leaving the house without them.
I have had a tooth ache for 3 weeks now, waiting to see a dental specialist. Aleve works. and so does Ibuprophen to kill the pain.
If you are addicted to percocet (oxycodone) or vicodin (hydrocodone) You can get off of them. I never thought I would be able to stop.
Now the focus is staying off of them. And I feel like I will because of all the negative side effects.
