Never knew pain like this...

I never knew pain like this existed. I mean, I know people suffer from pain, but this is new for me.

The first time I experienced this type of pain was…gosh…over 6 or 7 years ago. I was having horrible sharp stabbing pains in my lower right abdomen all the way down through my inner thigh. Excitement and fear, all at once.

My lovely new doctor prescribed some meds for the pain I’ve been dealing with more frequently. I’m equal parts excited and terrified at the thought of pain meds. Any others have this fear?

If Only They Understood

This is my letter to those who don’t understand chronic pain. I know you will never read this, but I have to get this off my chest.

I’ve had chronic pain in my left hip and leg and lower back for the past 7 years. I am not a hypochondriac, I am not a head case, I am not imagining this. So please don’t judge me.
